We needed an outlet for our work that would fit our values and where we could interact with our customers directly.  The Whanganui Community Arts Trust location is perfect for us as we can also collaborate with the Trust on their events and also with other artists who hire the two other galleries for their exhibitions.  We want people to feel welcome and enjoy the art we have created in our special place. 

Everything is original and handcrafted by mainly local artists.  We have used all types of media from: fabric, ceramics, jewellery, glass, stone, metal and woodwork, pictures, photography and more…  There is definitely something for everyone in our wonderful gallery 🙂

The Boring Gallery is an amazing collection of unique and eclectic artworks – which of course, are not boring at all!
